Pastor Denise M.H. Mbise

"I became a pastor because I felt called to walk with people on their faith journey as they learn, grow and experience God’s love in their lives."

Pastor Denise started ministry at Trinity in October of 2018 after serving as pastor at congregations throughout the Greater Milwaukee Synod and in Tanzania through the ELCA. She most recently served as pastor at Living Faith Lutheran in Racine, WI.
 
Her favorite parts of ministry are visiting and connecting with people, teaching Bible study and leading worship.
 
Pastor Denise is married to Exaudh, and they have three grown children: Aliliywa, Alexander and Anna-Lisa. She and her husband also work with the nonprofit Mt. Meru Tumaini Health Clinic, Inc., which supports the Ndoombo Community Dispensary in Exaudh’s home village in Tanzania.
 
During her downtime, Pastor Denise walks by the lake, enjoys a good book, a good movie, or a challenging puzzle and travels near and far with friends and family.
