In her role, Alyssa focuses on cross-generational programming, overseeing Sunday School classes, Vacation Bible school, Confirmation, youth group, family outings, intergenerational fellowship, and more. She also collaborates on youth ministry and education ideas at synodical, national, and international levels.
Alyssa started teaching Sunday School at her home church, Galilee Lutheran Church in Pewaukee, as a teen. That led to almost 20 years volunteering and working in ministry, including at Lutherdale Bible camp. She is passionate about facilitating process-oriented, choice-based learning for people of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds.
When she is not at Trinity, she enjoys nannying, arts and crafts, and gaming.
